Such an amazing experience! 🙂 I very much enjoyed the 200h Yoga Teacher Training with with Shades of Yoga in October 2023 and gained ~ among so many other skills and insights ~ so much knowledge in asana alignment and how to teach safely. I am truly grateful that I was able to be part of the group. Even though I was not planning on teaching at all, I developed so much joy doing it. I had only ever taken one yoga class in my life and we moved at a pace where I fully understand everything we were being taught. If you are new to yoga this is the perfect school for you! The class sizes are small, 16 students max, and you become very close with all the other students. I made the most beautiful friendships within the three weeks of Shades of Yoga YTT. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in beginning their yoga journey or anyone who has been doing yoga for years and would like to perfect their skills. Amazing training, teachers are fantastics, the Ubud energy, the place we stayed, food, shala we practiced is just a dream. Venues supply mats for you to use during the classes but you are also expected to do your own self practice on your own time during the course. For that purpose it might be a good idea to have your yoga mat with you.

Yoga mats are quite expensive in Bali so rather bring your own from home.

Rainy Season is Nov – March and during this time you will have sun and rain and it is quite hot and humid. Dry Season April – October will have just light rains here or there but is actually a cooler time of year.
You will need some device to write down and submit your assignments. It does not have to be a laptop, a tablet or a smart phone on which you can create a document will also suffice. You may also find internet cafes around the town.
